Big sink

This is the south wall where our main sink it. Its a big one - 29 inches! Seemed like a good idea when we picked it out of the catalog, and then seemed HUGE when it arrived in its box. Now it seems just right. Both of the sinks we chose are black, and made of a manufactured granite product called "silgranit". We read many rave reviews of this product on the web, so decided to go for it. Cheaper than stainless too. Supposed to be very durable, scratch-resistent, and not show water spots. If we had any plumbing, we could check out that latter claim. Hopefully that will be coming soon.

Wow it's really coming together nicely. Your kitchen looks huge. Everything looks so great together. I really like the counter tops and the black stove top, it will be great with your black sinks. Makes everything tie together well. What's left? More lighting? Fridge? etc.? I can't remember. Is there an estimated completion date? Hope you guys are happy with it all so far, it looks amazing and so professional.

Yes, it is close to completion. We are supposed to get our fridge today, and all the plumbing needs to be reconnected. The glass tile backsplash went up Friday, and it will be grouted today. And then the floor of course. Not sure it will all be done by the time I come to Portland, but it'll be close. We are happy with the way its turning out, but ready for the workers to be out of our house!
